For Halloween Brandon and I decided we wanted to do a little play on words...so we decided to have David be a lion...we thought it was fitting with our last name and all! He was so cute! We also let him suck on a twizzler and boy did he like that! We didn't actually let him eat it...whenever a piece broke off we would throw it away, so he didn't have too big of a sugar high! :)
Tonight, our friends, Tyler and Courtney, let us borrow their jumperoo for David to use since he just wants to bounce now-a-days (Mommy and Daddy don't have the arm strength to let him bounce for too long). He absolutely loved it!!! He just kept bouncing and bouncing...even when he was tired. He wanted to be in it for as long as possible that we have a video of him falling asleep and then waking himself up because his legs would start bouncing! It was HILARIOUS!!! We're thinking about sending it in to Funniest Home Videoes! And even if we don't, it will definitely be a charished video for the rest of our lives!
He had his 6 month old check up yesterday at the doctors, and he had to get 3 shots. :( It's so hard watching the nurses stick him and then having him cry...but you know it is what's best. But other than that, we have a very healthy baby on our hands! YAY! He was 18 lbs (58 percentile) and 27 1/4 inches long (76 percentile). His head circumference is 17.3 inches (50 percentile)...so he is just growing, growing, growing! We love it!!
