Ok, so it's been a while...

Right now Brandon, David, and I are sick. Fun, I know. David gave it too us...he's had a cold for a little while and I guess it finally got to us. Last night was terrible...I don't think any of us slept. However, the lack of sleep, stuffy nose, and cough has not stopped David from still being the happiest boy ever! He simply amazes me!! Anyways, we're taking David to the doctor's today to make sure nothing else is going on...he seriously has had this for a while.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Maryland (which is why I didn't blog). Unfortunately, our camera seriously stinks and David won't sit still long enough to get a decent picture so we decided not to take it. :( I didn't think anything about it then but now I wish we did so I could have pictures of our trip. Now I have to wait for my Mom and grandparents to print their pictures (they don't know how to put them on the computer), and send them to me. We did take some videos, so maybe when I'm feeling better I'll put them on here. But the basically went like this...since Brandon's family and my family live 15 minutes from each other, we were constantly driving back and forth between families. That was rough, but I don't think I would want it any other way. It's nice to be able to see both families at once. Anyways, everyone fell in love with David...I mean, who wouldn't?! This boy is definitely a charmer and because he's so happy all the time that just makes it even better! Even on the plane, we made lots of friends because he was so well behaved and would smile and wave to everyone who walked past him (hilarious by-the-way). All in all, it was a wonderful trip and we were sad to leave everyone.

Exciting news though...Brandon got an internship with INTEL!!!!! I know, amazing isn't it?! However, that means we will be leaving Idaho for these next winter months and moving to Portland, Oregon. I have to admit that I am not going to miss the frigid cold any (we will be returning the end of December so we will get some of it), but we will miss our amazing friends! I do have to say that Heavenly Father is wonderful and can do anything He wants...trying to decided whether or not we should all go to Oregon or just Brandon, then finding an apartment, has definitely been a testimony builder. Basically, we are all going and a lady contacted Brandon's Craigslist wanted post with an apartment and it turns out she is LDS! He is definitely amazing!!

In baby news, everything is going well. I am almost half way through and can already feel this little one kicking me. David's movement were little flutters but with this little one they are already little pokes! I'm not quite sure what that means exactly...maybe this baby is pushed closer to my front than David was...who knows, but it's great to finally be able to know there really is a baby there. Unfortunately, we are moving before we get to find out the sex so we have to wait a little bit longer...sad. But, I'm pretty sure it's another boy. We'll see whenever we do get to find out if I'm right or not.

Lyons Happenings

What has been going on with us...
1.) We finally finished this semester...and I finally GRADUATED!!! It is a wonderful feeling to be done with school...I've been going to college for about 6 years now (that's a long time)!!! We both even finished this semester with good grades too!!
2.) We went to the Idaho Falls Air Show with the Blue Angels, and it was AMAZING!! Even though it was super hot and there was no shade, we still had a fun time. It definitely tucker David out...he passed out on our way to the car. He also got sunburned eyes...who knew you could sunburn your eyes?!
3.) We are flying home to Maryland in 3 days!!! We will be home for 3 weeks!! I am sooooo excited to be able to see our families, and they get to see David and how much he has grown since Christmas. At Christmas, he could just barely pull himself along and how he can walk, run, throw, kick, and catch balls! He also knows some sign language and is trying to say "thank you." He has grown so much I know how surprised they will to see him.
4.) And finally, the most exciting news...I'm pregnant again!! The little baby is due Feb. 4th! We are excited and a little nervous because taking care of David takes so much time and energy, how can we take care of two babies. I am amazed at those people who have like 8 kids or more...wow, how do they it?! But we are excited for David to be a big brother...we think he'll be a great one!!

Our Busy Lives

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted. School has been really busy...I found a second block english class that I can take so hopefully I will be graduating in 2 weeks...that is if I pass the class. It's so difficult because it's going so fast. I basically am writing something every night because I have a paper due at the end of the week. It's pretty stressful! And Brandon's got as much work as I do. Let's just say we will be very happy when this semester is over!

In other good news...just one more month before our 3rd anniversary!! I can't believe it's been that long already...in some ways it really hasn't felt that long, but in others it has (like being away from Maryland and our families). But I am happy to say that we are still in love and love being married to each other. I asked Brandon one night, after an argument or something, if he had the chance to go back to do it all over again would he still marry me...and he said YES!! Even though he knows how much of a pain I really can be, he would marry me again! That made me feel so much better!

David is growing and learning every day. Now he has learned how to run, throw a ball, kick a ball, kick a ball while running, spin around in a circle, and play a recorder! I know, that last one is hilarious! He knows that keys go in the door and will take my keys around the house and try to put them in every door handle, it's quite interesting to watch. :) There was one day, when I was doing the dishes and Brandon had David in the bedroom...I didn't hear them making any noise for the longest time so I thought they had fallen asleep. Well, to my surprise when I walked in I saw Brandon holding on to the back on of one of his computer hard drives and David with a cord in his hand trying to fit it into the little slots on the hard drive. Brandon looked at me, rolled his eyes, and told me they had been doing this for about 45 minutes! That boy has some concentration! He's too smart for his own good too...he pretty much understands everything we tell him now, he still can't say much, but at least he understands.

Well, that's about all that's going on with us right now...we're just waiting for the semester to end and getting more excited because then we get to fly home to Maryland and see family for 3 weeks!! I can't wait!!

Camping Trip!

Brandon, David and I decided to go on a camping trip...well, Brandon and I decided, David just came along. Anyways, we were asked to go by Katie and Shad Ryan and after some serious thought (whether or not Brandon could get enough homework done) we decided to go. Brandon's been wanting to go for some time now so he was super excited. I was a little worried because I didn't want David to get hurt or anything and since we were out in the woods with a fire there was a good chance of that happening if we weren't careful. But honestly, David could have cared less about the fire. He was just so excited to be outside and explore the world. We had a hard time keeping up with him and keeping him still long enough so we could get things done! Night time was terrible though!! I think David probably would have slept through the night if Brandon and I could have gotten comfortable...but we couldn't. So we were moving all around, and we kept waking David up (which he was so NOT happy about as I'm sure the whole camp ground could probably attest to), and in the morning we felt like we had been hit by a truck! It definitely wasn't the best nights sleep. But the day times were really fun, and we got to know Katie and Shad better, so all in all it was a good experience that probably won't be repeated until David is a little older! :) We didn't get any pictures because now that David is walking/running we can't get him to stand still long enough to have his picture taken. We do have some videos though...but I'm just to lazy to put them on here!

Bored, so totally bored!

I am getting really tired of this place! This house, this town, this school, this stupid stupid weather...everything!! Stupid Idaho can't seem to make up it's mind on whether or not it wants spring here. I know what I want...so make up your mind! I'm tired of sitting in this house all day because it's too cold to take David outside and get some fresh air. I feel like a total bum because I know that I should be using this time to clean the house and do all of the wifely (don't really know if that's the right word) chores, but I HATE cleaning. Honestly, I see no point to it because everything just gets dirty again and then I have to go through it all over again. If it would stay clean, fine, I'll do it, but that's not how it works. But if I don't do it then I feel like a terrible wife, because Brandon has had a full and rough day at school and I have nothing to do. So why can't I do the simple chores around the house? But even if I could go outside there's still nothing to do in this boring town. It has become a habit to go to the DI just about every week just because that's like the only place to go other than Wal-mart (wahoo). And school doesn't help much either...all it does is take away my husband. I see Brandon in the mornings then we head off to school, I come home and take care of David and by the time Brandon gets home I'm going crazy and would like some peace and quiet for myself, but do I get it? No! Because stupid school has given Brandon a butt load of homework, so he comes in, says hi, then heads to the bedroom and closes the door, to which he doesn't emerge from. I go to bed with the stupid computer light on and wake up the next morning to do it all over again. And weekends aren't any different. I'm just so freaking fed up with this entire place, I can't wait to get out of here!

Thank you for letting me vent...I just found out I won't be graduating this semester like I hoped because of one stupid class. I so hate school right now!
